Archmage Landazar Netherspawn was a dalarani wizard who fought for the Alliance of Lordaeron during the Second War.
He was a member of Kirin Tor Intelligence during the Firts War, and was charged with leading the wizarding team surveilling Karazhan. After the assasination of Llane I of Azeroth, Landazar travelled to Gnomeregan to advise High Tinker Mekkatorque on the pending threat of the Orcish Horde. He later was recalled to Dalaran to assume the new position the Magus Senate had granted him: Steward of the Violet Citadel, which made him the de facto Commander-in-Chief of Dalaran Defence.
Landazar supported some arcane bombardment of the orcish fleet on the tirasian sea, but it became apparent the need for a united front against the Horde. After the signing of the Alliance Compact, Landazar served as Mage-Commander for the Allied Forces Magical Command.
After the war ended, he quitted his office to Khadgar and resumed duties as the Minister Permanant from Dalaran to the Allied Powers. After the impeachment of Kel'Thuzad, Landazar was appointed to the Council of Six.
